JACOBI MEDICAL CENTER

Background

TIGERFLOW, through Dolphin Equipment Corporation, was given the oppurtunity to design and build a system that consisted of (4) Primary chilled water skids & controls for Jacobi Medical Center, located in Bronx, New York.

The system consists of:

(4) TIGERS EYE MARK VI variable speed controllers communicating with each other in a master/slave configuration via BACNET. Three of the controllers have 10″ color touch screens while the master has a 15″ color touch screen. The control system monitors the large medical center, controls (7) existing variable speed secondary pumps, and two existing Systecon systems.

Systecon systems consist of a triplex pump station with (3) 10 HP close coupled pumps, and a MARK VI variable speed controller. A duplex with (2) 10 HP close coupled pumps, controlled as a slave. A triplex with 7.5 HP close coupled pumps, and a MARK VI variable speed controller.

The control system also monitors (57) remote and skid mounted pressure transducers, and (i 2) remote RTD Type temperature transmitters.
